At 18 Estevan Vega accomplished something most people dream of a lifetime. He published a book. In fact, when he was 18 he had already published two books. This is quite surprising, but even more amazing is the depth and maturity of writing Mr. Vegas. When would be the back cover of "The Sacred Sin" showed his age, I never thought I was a teenager.
"Sacred Sin" is a story of Los Angeles homicide detective, a JewFoster, dealing with serious psychological problems after the betrayal of his former friend and partner, Morgan Cross, which almost killed him and he really was dead. To play, took a visit to a shrink, one that has a very low opinion and demonstrate that it is expanding its work. He has a new partner who happens to be female and that bothers him, where strong. He is also dealing with family issues. His brother tends to the wrong side of law andleads a dangerous life.

When a new group of victims will begin to appear, do Jew is responsible for the murders. He soon realizes that dealing with an unusual crime, which means marked body behind in a strange way and killed by abnormal leaves. Jew, and Rachel had only a week to stop the bad, and that hunting may very well lead to something unusually dark places.
Mr. Vega does the "darkness that lies within all people" with unusual maturity, the readeras it not only vice, but also self-satisfaction, that evil and even malicious in nature. The main character, a Jew Foster oozes hatred for all and everyone, including himself, and as such is not a difficult prey to supernatural forces repugnant. The rest of the characters are well developed and a bit 'cliche, but I'm sure that Mr. Vega able to overcome this challenge in its future work. His story moves well in general, and offers enough surprises to keepinteresting and flowing freely.
My main complaint is usually the obvious lack of editing and proofreading. If Mr. Vega would be willing to hire a professional editor, was more typo, excessive background and metaphors sometimes confusion can be avoided. All this would have rubbed his well-written book, and made it even easier to read.
Overall I was pleased to read "Sacred Sin." The story is fascinating and challenging enough to keep my interestcompletely. I'm sure there will be strong as the intelligence of readers, especially enjoyed with some supernatural elements.
