Because the personnel in the certification of the training is so confused?

You've been totally by all companies offering personal training certification confused? What is a NCSF certification or an ACE exam? Are they good? Why is it so hard to find?

When I started to hear a personal trainer, I could not believe how unregulated and distributes the field of staff training had become in recent years. Everyone knows what I was ... types of certificates that were available in the U.S.recognized by customers and the quality of fitness professionals? Why should it be so hard?

Mephisto

It was discovered that the fitness industry is one of the least regulated. The most important thing to learn for the future instructor before starting their career is how the industry is self-organized reliable certification bodies stressed.

NCCA - the only standard "gold"

Here are the key to everything ... The National Commission for the Certification Authority (NCCA to [http://www.noca.org])is the main accreditation body for Personal Training Certification Program in the United States.

Personal Trainer certified by an accredited certification body, the NCCA certification can earn top-tier personal trainer. Also, most fitness centers, customers and employees expect the company in a competent personal trainer, have their certification from an NCCA certified facilities.

These eight recognized organizations offer a variety of fitness and personal training educationLaboratories, materials and grades. All of them are recognized as valid training and certification can be a crucial first step on the way to a personal trainer.

General Certification similarities

Each certifying organization is a bit 'different, but all require you to manage their "graduates" a matter of one or more exams. Many times these tests are a personal practice. (I think they should all, but unfortunately it is not.)

The eight NCCAaccredited organizations to offer, along with their certifications for its test preparation materials to study and prepare for exams.

If you pass these exams, you will receive a confirmation that will last for a predetermined period of time, usually 1-3 years.

Once you are certified, any other organization rules about the number of "credits education for adults" (aka CEC or CEU) have their coaches during the year to take to stay informed. They also need coachesTo certify when their certificates expire ... fee, of course!

Let us take an example ... American College of Exercise (ACE) is a certified personal trainer you can get for about $ 300. Certification is good for two years. After two years, you have to pay about $ 400, to return with ACE-certified for another two years. This includes a re-examination fees and registration. The $ 400 is the average of the annual fee ($ 69) and 20 hours CECmust (and pay)

Although there are many certification programs that you do not need to buy anything to qualify for their exams, new coach knows very well the type of material on each test. Each test group of a core set of skills and knowledge (for example, anatomy and exercise science), but most have included a number of different aspects (such as nutrition or sports coach), you may not even be aware if designed by a different set ofMaterials.

The Holy Night

Let's take a look at the eight groups of staff certification training, which were blessed by the NCCA, so that non-accredited programs that are advertised or not sure to find every day.

1. The American College of Exercise (ACE) offers a certified personal trainer, and three other health certification. A series of practical training courses are offered in major cities across the country. These courses consist of 15 hours fromTeachers in two days. The organization also prepare home-study courses for the certification exam. These courses have a duration of about three to six months and you can work at their own pace.

2. The National Council for Food and Fitness (NCSF) offers a Personal Training Certification courses and home study exam preparation. Takes home the prize acronym nonsense with a certificate with the name "NCSF-CPT. You have a choice of options and you canChoosing between home and interactive workshops. When completed the preparation course and exam will be ready to support the certification exam. The test is available for more than four test sites across the country.

3. The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) offers two ways to prepare for their certification exam. They offer 1-3 day workshop or a test preparation course of study at home. They also offer a popular health / fitness instructorCertification for people interested in teaching.

4. The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) has a certified personal trainer (CPT) certification, including a number of other certifications. They are well known in the fitness industry and many top fitness clubs accept their CPT certification. The CPT has some strict limits (as is often the practice exams and given time to take the exam) can and should be done in person. It 'available incomputer testing centers across the country.

5. National strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), also known as an NSCA-PT, is the national strength and Conditioning Association. They offer two types of certifications, one named as the CSCS and NSCA-CPT certification training staff know.

6. The Cooper Institute (CI) is a new organization offers an NCCA accredited personal training certification. The CI-CPT designation comes from the guy who startedtotal aerobic enthusiasm with his book published in the 70 'said, well, "aerobic"!

7. The National Movement Trainers Association (NETA) is a new organization NCCA accredited. Although his reputation is still caught in its quality, it seems to me a certificate, in which the student receives a lot of money.

8. The National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT) is also an NCCA accredited certification service provider. NFPT offers a certified personal trainer (CPT)Program with a series of more "advanced" available.

This personal training certification organizations offer a variety of ways to require the formation of a professional instructor. They all have at home, online and lab courses, and some also offer distance learning courses at local universities. Each has its strengths and weaknesses that vary according to your training goals.

We hope that clears some confusion on the quality of stafftraining certificates, because out there in the world today.

Because the personnel in the certification of the training is so confused?

Three Ways To Set Effective Goals In Your Personal Training Business

Goal setting can be a vital part of any personal training business. We live in a world where people what results faster than ever so it is important that we have the necessary skills to set effective goals with our personal training clients. Goal setting is not a new thing but is so often over looked by personal trainers. Sometimes people get so caught up in focusing on the training sessions, they forget about what the client is trying to achieve. I have found the following three ways have really helped me to stay on top of my clients goals.

The first way is to have an honest discussion with your client about what they are trying to achieve. We do live in a quick fix world so we must be careful not to be unrealistic with people for the sake of making a sale. If someone wants to lose a lot of weight and quick, we must set expectations properly to avoid disappointment and frustration later on down the line. It may be better to risk losing a client at the start rather than trying to achieve something impossible and then losing them anyway!

The second way is not do too much, too soon. I tend to find that after five years of living a healthy lifestyle, I can switch things off fairly easily. I can change my diet or exercise program at the drop of a hat. This very rarely applies to people who are just starting the journey. A good example of this is nutrition, how many times have you found yourself preaching to clients about changing this and changing that and then nothing has changed after a few weeks? We must remember that if it was easy to change everything really quickly, then everybody would do it. In terms of exercise, people often say that they want to worked hard. This is fine in theory but when it comes down to it, personal trainers need to be careful of not burning people out. I constantly check with my clients about the pace and difficulty of my workouts to ensure they are challenged but not destroyed!

The third way is to review emotional goals as well as numbers. Weight and measurements are good but don't always tell the whole story. If a client has a certain item of clothing for example that they want to fit into too, this can be more "real" to the client and should be used to motivate as well. I find this to be very powerful. It may be a good idea to have a chat with a client about their goals and see if there are any emotional aspects to it. This can help you make the client feel better about themselves whilst working with you.

This is not new information but certainly worth a mention as we move into New Year. People will have weight loss goals and will be looking for personal trainers in abundance! Make sure you are ready!

Personal Training and Weight Loss

Personal training is a great option for those who dread going about the weight loss process alone. Some of the benefits that the trainers offer are motivation when you are not at your best and help in keeping you on track to lose those unsightly inches around your waist. They are also there to insure that you are getting the most out of every workout.

Since many of you have never had a personal trainer, you may think that they are there to just help you to exercise better. In fact certified personal trainers do much more. The following are some of the evaluations that he or she might perform on you.

Mephisto Shoes

Some of the first things that he or she will do for you is to analyze your present fitness level with a series of simple tests and questions. This information helps to establish a health history that will be used to assess your risk factors before starting an exercise program.

If need be, the trainer may recommend a medical exam. This may happen, for example if you have a history of heart disease or other cardiovascular problems, if you are taking prescription drugs, or if you have been injured recently.

Once the preliminary assessment has taken place and the trainer has determined that you're fit enough to start a program, you will then get into more of the specifics about the goals and objectives that you would like to obtain. But before a specific program is prescribed, they may also perform more assessments such as body mass index, the determination of body fat or some of the following.

To determine your level of cardio fitness, the trainer may have you perform some physical exertion tests. By determining this, he or she can better understand your cardio endurance and capacity level. Typically the exercise will involve running or walking.

Since you will eventually perform a range of different exercises, your going to need to be flexible. As such the trainer may perform a flexibility assessment on you. After a proper warmup, a common test that is performed is a sit-and-reach.

This test not only helps him or her to asses the flexibility of your hamstrings and hip, but also your lower back. This is important because of the significant number of people who complain of lower back problems.

Another assessment that the trainer may make has to do with your body alignment, that is your posture. Posture problems can play a central role in joint and muscle problems. Determining and correcting your posture can help to alleviate nagging aches and pains that you may have. And it is more than just knowing how to stand correctly. Proper posture should also be followed when you walk, sit, and also when you perform exercises.

After making these assessments, the trainer can then design a specific program for you that will help you to achieve your goals, whether it be for weight loss or other health related benefits.

One last thing. To find a personal trainer, check with your gym. However, if you don't like the gym scene, try a home personal trainer.
